The latest updates and changes to Eververse

Bidirectional feature sync

Today we're rolling out a few under the hood changes that should enhance your overall Eververse experience! First up is the small changes: We improved our Productboard integration to be a lot more reliable, as well as importing things like Releases, Release Groups, Custom Fields and Linked Jira issues. We added the ability to Forward email into Eververse! If you head to Integrations > Email, there's an address there you can use to turn emails into Feedback. We improved the content sent to GitHub when you push a Feature. We fixed a bunch of misc bugs. Now for the juicy bit - bidirectional feature sync i.e. the ability to continuously sync data between Jira, Linear and GitHub. Specifically: On Initial Push Eververse will push Title and Contents to GitHub, as well as add a label of eververse Eververse will push Title, Contents and Due Date to Linear. Eververse will push Title, Contents and Due Date changes to Jira (in the correct Project and Issue type), as well as add a label of eververse On Eververse Update Eververse will push Title and Contents changes to GitHub Eververse will push Title and Contents changes to Linear Eververse will push Title and Contents changes to Jira On 3rd Party Update GitHub will push Title changes to Eververse, as well as a status change depending on your Feature Status mapping Linear will push Title changes to Eververse Jira will push Title changes to Eververse, as well as a status change depending on your Feature Status mapping. We eventually decided not to pull content updates from third parties for two reasons: The Eververse editor is a lot more powerful than most integration "description" fields and bringing changes back into Eververse will likely mess up your documents. From experience, we've found that once a feature leaves the Product teams tooling, the work done in Engineering platforms is centered around engineering-level scoping. This information doesn't particularly need to be surfaced back to the Product tool, but the overall status does. We hope this makes sense and you enjoy bidirectional sync!
